Robert "Bob" J. Dooley, 94, of Greenup, Illinois passed away at 7:05 pm on Sunday May 26, 2024, at his daughter's home in Mahomet, IL.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on June 10, 2024, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. Memorial visitation will be from 11:00 to service time at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery with Military Rites by the Cumberland County Veterans.
Bob was born on February 14, 1930, to Olin and Virginia (Pfeifer) Dooley, in Lincoln, IL. He married Joyce Etter on June 9, 1951. She preceded him in death in 2017. Survivors include his daughter Belinda (Brad) Sanders; and sister Marilyn Stayton; grandchildren Jackie Renfroe, Zane (Alie) Dooley, Landon (Sabrina) Dooley, Jake (Lauren) Sanders, Kaite (Celia Smith) Sanders, and Thad (Kelly) Dooley; great-grandchildren Delaney, Riley, Evan, Zander, Victoria, Lily, Katelyn, Samuel, Cordelia, Everett, River, Skye, and Elliotte arriving in August of 2024.
