Winona Reisner, 96, of rural Gila, IL passed away at 11:55 am on June 7, 2024, at Helia Healthcare of Newton, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. A visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery in Gila, IL.
Winona was born on June 2, 1928, in Jasper County, IL, to John and Jewell (Raper) Wilson. She married Mervyn L. Reisner on September 24, 1949, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2022. Survivors include daughters, Debra (Gary) Michl and Jane (Harold) Field; grandchildren, Ryan Michl, Courtney (Travis) Miller, and Dylan (Brittany) Field; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Graci, Marli, and Kinli Michl and Mackenzie, Megan, and Maleah Miller; sister Wanda (Kenny) Starwalt; brother Larry Wilson.
