Barbara E. Green January 20, 1936 - June 22, 2024 TRILLA - Barbara E. Green, 88, of Trilla, IL, passed away at 6:38 PM Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the Carle Foundation Hospital of Urbana, IL. She was born January 20, 1936, in Neoga, IL, the daughter of Nathan and Olive (Ferris) Stewart. Barbara married Lawrence E. "Bud" Green September 2, 1956, at the First Christian Church of Neoga, IL. They were married for 59 years when Mr. Green passed away on June 4, 2016. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Masters Degree and taught PE/Health for the Mattoon Community School District for over 35 years. She was a faithful member of the Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church In Trilla, IL, where she taught Sunday School. Barbara was also a fifty plus year member of the Order Of The Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Jim Green (Angie) of Trilla, IL; daughters: Deb Berkheimer (Barry Conn) of Trilla, IL, and Kristi Peterson (Eric) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Jo
