Robbie D. Darnall, 59, of Hidalgo, IL, passed away at 5:45 pm on July 7, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A Time of Celebration will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 16, 2024, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup.
Robbie was born on December 15, 1964, to Iva Fern Darnall in Champaign, IL. He married Vonnie Welch on May 24, 1997. Survivors include his loving wife, Daughters Regina Diane Darnall, and Mariah (Bryon) Steadman; son Ky (Courtney) Welch; sister Regina Kinsel; grandchildren Sapphire, Hayden, Eli, Jaxson, Bryon and Marti; and one great-grandchild Maebel. He was preceded in death by his mother Iva Fern Galyath; brother Jacob Galyath; sisters Bobbie Darnall and Mitzie Buoy.
Robbie was a commercial painter and also worked digging water wells. He enjoyed watching old western's, fishing, four-wheeler riding, and sitting around campfires. Robbie was a jack of all trades and always known for his generosity.
