Eleanor M Eggers, 79, of Greenup, IL. passed away at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center on August 16, 2024.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 at the Friends Grove Cemetery in rural Toledo on Friday August 23, 2024. Please wear your favorite sports team attire. To honor her wishes, there will not be a visitation. Lunch will be served at the Greenup VFW following the services. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.
Eleanor was born on September 12, 1944, to Leland and Eunice (Burton) Starwalt, in Cumberland County. She married Jack Eggers on March 16, 1973. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Jeanette Henderson. She is survived by five brothers and five sisters: Gene (Beverly) Starwalt, Jesse (Marjorie) Starwalt, (Wayne Henderson), Claudette (Jim) Houser, Vivan Purcell, Harvey Starwalt, Brenda Starwalt, Darrell (Bonnie) Starwalt, Helen (John) Scott, Rhonda (David) Trost, and Jeffery (Sandy) Starwalt; 34 nieces
