Stanley G. Gentry, 70, of Greenup, IL passed away on August 24, 2024, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. A battle fought hard; a life taken too soon.

Stan was born on January 11, 1954, to Joe and Wanda (Hesler) Gentry in Bainbridge, Maryland. He married Trina Winnett on July 11, 1976. Stan is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; daughters Mindy Brant (Greg Sims), Mandi (Charlie) Finn, and Brandi (Brad) Wendte; son William Aaron; Grandchildren Shalynn, Wyatt, Brianna, Brooklyn, Brycen, Brylie, Lauren, Landon, Leah, and Liberty; Great-Grandchildren Aubrie, Rhett, and Asher. Stan is also survived by sisters Becky Shull and Debbie Gentry; brothers Mike (Julie) and Dan Gentry. He also leaves behind Dan and Jill Kimble, Jeff and Nicole Winnett, several nieces and nephews, and his dog Joey.
