Grover Scott Garrett of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his residence in Estill Springs, Tennessee at the age of 85 years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday February 17, 2025, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, Illinois. Burial will follow at Garrett Cemetery in Ve Vay Park, Illinois.
A native of Greenup, Illinois, he is the son of the late Walter Scott and Margaret Orla Sharp Garrett. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Susan Liehr and one sister-in-law, Judy Garrett.
Grover was a member of the Churches of Christ, and he attended Grundy Street Church of Christ in Tullahoma. A wonderful man with a brilliant mind, he earned a master's degree in mathematics. He was a minister and started traveling and sharing his ministry at the age of about 15 years. He was involved with church camp and loved working with the children, teaching them songs a
